Since March 2020 the music school has successfully delivered over 1000 music lessons to students all over England, using Zoom as our chosen platform.
Our Online Tuition
All of our online tuition is on an individual basis, and can be taken by anyone, regardless of where you are based. If you are a total beginner requiring some initial tuition, an improver in need of top-up lessons or an advanced player in need of one lesson for a second opinion, we can offer tuition to suit you.

Necessary Equipment
To take part in successful online tuition using Zoom it is not necessary to own expensive audio equipment. Instead, we have found that built in cameras and mics on mobiles and tablets will suffice if the camera angle is suitable and there is not too much background noise. Desktop computers with a basic camera that usually have a built in mic, are preferable, as it is possible to tweak the audio settings to optimise the sound for both you and the teacher. A good pair of headphones is also recommended.
